Index to the Law Reports (The Citator – 4 volumes)

These are a great research tool.  For instance in the back is a ‘subject matter’ section including ‘words and phrases’ which is useful for the latest years in checking you have not missed a recent case but even more useful is the section of ‘Cases judicially considered’ where,  when you have identified a key case you can find if there has been any commentary upon it and often that commentary can lead you sideways into other related areas for the topic you are researching.  Because all the cases that consider your case are grouped it can be relatively easy to sieve out the ones you know are unlikely to assist (assuming you have some expertise).

Condition: Virtually unused ex local authority library.   Absolutely invaluable research work still better than online searches in complimentary way.
